Default my first 11 sec pass

Previous best was a 12.43 at 106 but after a new custom converter and I rebuilt the c4 first pass off the trailer was this 11.79 at 111

Tow passes later it ripped off a 1.60 11.70 at 112 with me hitting the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift due to me not seeing my shift light because of the sun.

Much more to come...

Thanks guys! Feels good to be goin the right direction finally.

Last Sunday was final day of the year at my track so I loaded the truck, made some tuning changes, retarded the cam another 2*,raised 2 step to 4500,raised rev limiter to 7000 and had a half tank of race gas. All I wanted was to meet my goal of running 11.50 and put it away til next spring.

Well once we got to the track I never even got the truck off the trailer. When I went to start truck to back off trailer the bellhousing broke clean off rite around the starter with only the index plate holding starter up. Never seen this happen before so I guess its just my luck. Time to look into buying a QuickTime SFI bell.

I have stock motor mounts welded solid and a Engery Suspension red poly foxbody trans mount. My trans crossmember is solid to chassis.

There is way to much frame flex for poly mounts just use stock mounts the trans will not take the twisting.

I honestly dont think thats the problem. The bell only snapped off at the kick out around the starter. Im wondering if using the newer high torque mini starter is to much torque on the thin Pinto casting.
