I'm running a LS 7.5 with 4.10 gears and 245's....... my 60' times are 2.29....... and still using the stock ranger TK5, it's been VERY bullet-proof so far!!!!

Local tire shop should have the ability to get them. I got mine at les schwabs. They are a pretty big shop, but not sure if you have them where your at.

i guess when i have more money ill worry a little more about tires but for now what kind should i look for, and whats a ballpark price? im new to drag racing so i know nothing about this stuff

most of the tire companies now should have a drag radial for 17" rims since a lot of v8 cars came with that size since the mid 90's. nitto, BFG, mickey thompson, hoosier to name a few

I know some people have good luck with hoosier, and some don't. I think there actual drag tires are good, but not sure about their street legal slicks. I know bf goodrich and mickey thompson have gone back and forth for the fastest street tire. I don't know who has it now, but last I knew it was mickey thompson. I wonder what huber uses. That one race he was in you had to be street legal, meaning you use a street slick.
