Need to keep your Air Conditioning or dont want to modify your heater box on a 1983-2001 Ranger check here for all the details!

It's the one and only way to turbocharge your Ranger and keep your factory A/C without modifying the heater/AC box and keeping the durability of a factory Ford E6(1986) turbocharger manifold.

I say this thread is worthless without video! Good job, and even better that you drove home.

10.97@124mph.

It wasn't easy to get there. I'll post more about the day later.

I went 6.99 @101 earlier in the year. I hit a pb 60 of 1.62 yesterday. I'm all out of turbo, so it's time for the 6765 to go on.

The truck handles great, no issues at all.

I put 11 passes on the truck yesterday, I flogged the $hit out of it. The first couple were 11.40's, the track was so good I was bogging hard even leaving at 7000+rpm, then I was into the bounce again, not quite as bad though. Two clicks on the shocks had it launching smooth again, and I achieved a PB 60' time of 1.62.

So we were in the ball park of where the truck should be so I continued my job of checking and adjusting the mechanicals of the truck and Mark (ForcePower) keep working with the tune. I can't even tell you what I was leaving at or anything related to the tune of the truck during the day, when I asked Mark, he said don't worry about the ECU that's my job, just drive it, lol. Well it's cool to be able to have that kind of faith in your tuner, later in the day Mark did reveal to me that I was running as high as 30 psi. Unfortunatley 30 psi didn't make any more power than 22-24psi, so talking with Mark he said I'm out of turbo. Mark is a very experienced tuner of 4 cylinder turbo engines, so he knows his $hit, so when he says I'm out of turbo, well I'm out of turbo. No matter what we did the truck would not go over 124 mph, out of .

So as we got things dialed in I ran an 11.07 new PB, then an 11.05 new PB again, and then finally a 10.97. So thanks to ForcePower for all there tuning and track support through the season, and my budy Darren who trailered me home too many times. It's been a fun season and now it's complete and I'm satisfied with the end results. I have some issues to resolve with the truck but I really learned more about these duratec engines on this day than you can believe. I'm pretty sure I've found most of the limits and weak points through real world experience and that's valuable.

Ok now it's time to get cocky, I'm pretty sure that I have the quickest and fastest street driven duratec powered street machine, I put over 300km (almost 200miles) on it this week then drove to and from the drag strip and ran 10.97 @ 124.29 mph, top that.
