Talking Smoking a lightning.

Went to drag this weekend.. managed a best of 13.76 with an horrible reaction time of .84. The strip was crap. It was cold as hell so no traction at all in first gear even with the street tires heated nicely. The traction was really crap, 2-step wires on clutch switch disconnected so I had no 2-step too.. It was like I was on ice in first gear. Ugly 2.3 60ft average lol.

This is 20 psi and street 225 tires. Smoked my friends lightning which usually do some 13.8 but he didnt do any better than 14.2 that night. I also smoked a brand new camaro ss!

It was really fun. I have to go back with my slicks and 25 psi next weekend.

Not bad times, traction alone should get you close to the 12's. What year Lightning were you running?

I had a 01 Lightning but had to sell it for something that got better mileage. Once I get my swap done I hope to make some noise at the track on a day the Lightning Owners Club is there lol

Cool! Slicks will definitely get you low 13's and a little more boost should get you into the 12's for sure, looking forward to seeing it.
