Default Back at the track

Finally got the truck back to a drag strip, fought traction and bad launches all night, pulled a 13.4 at 106 out of it, was consistent at 13.5 all night, finally got my launches ok and wanted to go faster so i threw some timing at it and it got more power but it killed the clutch, yes theres video

the question is leave it or get a new clutch and try for 12s

and the clutch giving up

truck sounds angry.lol. You should pick up a set of drag radials when you get a new clutch.

That mph is a high 12, get some better tires and get at least a 1.8 60' also go on a day when the track is prepped well, it makes a huge difference. Nice times though and lots of potential.

I'd like to take it out again if it's not broke, but I'm sure it will eat the clutch up,

I don't think any of your stuff in in there it was all the Orange engine stuff, and it has been retired for me I'm not building any more fast limas, this is a stock bottom end I haven't touched a bolt

I did just get in from working on it and I don't think it's broke, I had a lifter loosen up, so it might get out to a track one more time
