Default 2002 3.0 to 4.0 conversion?

I'm asking this for a friend-

He destroyed the 3 liter v6 and decided he wants to go with a 4.0 engine.

What sort of work will this conversion be, and does anyone know of a write-up?

I did search here

I do know that you have to change the trans. Outside of that, I don't know any specifics

From what I understand, the 3.0 Vulcan uses a unique transmission pattern, so yes the bell housing is different.
