Default Finding happy boost number.

So this is going to sound dumb, but as far as finding what the motor is happy with for boost other than a wide band. Is there a better way than creeping up the boost a PSI at a time until it pings or miss fires?

if its a stock turbocoupe/svo/merkur engine with no mods and enough fuel and 93 octane start at 20. i used to get 22 before ping reared her ugly head.

It's the one and only way to turbocharge your Ranger and keep your factory A/C without modifying the heater/AC box and keeping the durability of a factory Ford E6(1986) turbocharger manifold.

Mine is a rebuild dual plug with 8.9:1 compression. I guess I will take it one PSI at a time.
